My son is back in a cycle where his anxiety is causing him to want to opt out of anything which takes him outside of the house. That includes school. This morning he dug in pretty firmly when it was time to head out the door to school – getting him there took lots of cajoling, encouraging and a little monetary motivation. For the sum total of $2 – enough to buy a soda and pop tart during his snack period – I was able to get him to school.

    Im so sorry to hear your son is going through such bad anxiety. My kids suffer from it too, both in very different ways it’s so painful to see them struggle but I know that they will get through with loving support. Xx
